Our Commitment To Flood Safety & Repairs
If 2020 was the year of the Pandemic, 2021 has proven to be the year of Hell and High Water here in BC.
2021 brought the ‘heat dome’. We’ve stood in shock, watching and witnessing homes, farms and small towns disappear from behind a wall of fire.
And recently in the Fraser Valley the “atmospheric river” has decimated many local farms, homes and businesses. Given the erratic weather patterns, we can all anticipate that this winter will also present challenges with which we will deal the best we can.
Please know, if you are one of our customers who has suffered damage over this last period of flooding, our hearts are with you.
Our customer service team has been busy with requests to service and/or replace recently damaged heating equipment. We are working around the clock to attend as many calls as possible.
Our priority is your safety.
Gandy Installations have received many inquiries recently regarding flood damaged furnaces and air conditioning units. We would like to suggest the following:
- Any unit that has been partially or completely submerged should be serviced before it is turned on. Failure to do so can cause further property damage and/or personal injury.
- The extent of the damage will depend on the depth of the flood water and the length of time that the unit was submerged.
Gandy Installations has qualified, licensed, insured and, most importantly, caring service technicians, installers, electricians, and plumbers to help you to return ‘your space to a safe place’.
For over 60 years, we at Gandy have been honoured to be trusted by you and your family for your everyday and ‘out of the ordinary’ needs.
