At Gandy Installations we are grateful to our loyal customers, our team of dedicated employees and all of the members of the local community who have supported our business for over 65 years.
For 3 generations the Gandy family has lived, worked and done business in this community, and most of our employees have homes and families here. It’s only natural that we care about the community — it’s our community, too.
We recognize that it is a privilege to do business here, and as a responsible member of the business community, as well as being proud community members ourselves, we are committed to contributing to the lives of our fellow citizens in a variety of ways.

Employee Initiative
Our employees help guide us in ways to give back to the community. In 2013 Matthew Krawchuk, spearheaded a campaign to collect blankets and warm clothing for distribution to those in need on the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver.
That winter a team of Gandy employees was out on Vancouver’s streets giving out blankets and warm clothing to people in need. Almost ten years later the tradition continues!
Supporting Blanket BC
2016 was the first year of many that a group of our staff worked at a downtown SkyTrain station collecting donations and blankets. In 5 hours of collecting, we received well over $400 in donations and over 100 blankets toward the cause.
Our donations were able to support over 75 different shelters. Lookout Aid Society, The Caring Place, Hope for Freedom Society, Triage Centre, Rain City Housing, Ann Davis Society, Haven in the Hollow, Emergency Services were among the recipients of our collections.
